Basel Zacur, Esq. is a resident of Broward County who was born and raised in South Florida. He attended Florida International University and graduated with a double major in Finance and International Business. After graduation, he went on to further his education and attended Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law School. He graduated in 2002 with a Juris Doctorate Degree. Basel became a member of the Florida Bar in 2002. While in Law School he clerked with a firm that specialized in the field of insurance defense. After graduation, he began his career as an attorney working at a prominent personal injury and insurance defense firm handling complex litigation cases. He then began working for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit as a Trial Court Staff Attorney doing research and writing formal opinions for Judges in various
fields of law, including but not limited to, Civil, Criminal, Probate, Family and Appellate Law.
After five years, he then went on to broaden his trial knowledge and experience in the courtroom and began working for In-House Counsel for a national insurance company as a trial attorney handling a voluminous caseload including spinal cord injuries, wrongful death and DUI cases.
He has brought many cases to a favorable verdict on their behalf. After fourteen years of accumulating knowledge in various fields of the law, he has opened his own law firm and is currently specializing in Real Estate, Commercial Law, Contracts, Probate, Wills, Trusts, Estates, Personal Injury and General Law matters.
